Research & Development Unit Manager

PRASAC MFI, Ltd. is a microfinance institution, which is providing sustainable financial services as loan, deposit, and fee base products for 24 provinces and city of Cambodia. PRASAC MFI is currently seeking for the qualified Cambodian candidates to fill the position as below:

POSITION: Research & Development Unit Manager, 01 Position   
REPORT TO:Marketing & Corporate Communications Manager
JOB LOCATION: Head Office    
DEADLINE: April 21, 2014 at 4:00 PM


Main Duties and Responsibilities
•   Developing the annual and long term strategic and budget plan
•   Develop concepts for product development and their prototypes, including the development of product policies, operational, working instructions and other support documents
•   Manage market evolution, marketing environment, competition, client’s needs
•   Monitoring and Evaluation (Existing Products and Services as well as relevant projects)
•   Conduct research project and implementation the survey following the proposal development
•   Environment and competition analysis in the banking sector and identify the market segment and its target for product development
•   Database management of all research findings such as primary and secondary data
•   Manage, motivate and evaluation staffs under supervision.


Key Selection Criteria and Qualification
•    High proficiency in research methodology & procedures.
•    Ability to perform task without close supervision.
•    High motivation, initiative, willing and able to travel to the field.
•    Be able to communicate well with all staff, local communities and authority.
•    Good computer literacy (Ms Office, SPSS and relevant applications).
•    Good command in English.
•    BA in Business Administration, Marketing, but prefers in Master Degree in relevant field.
•    Preferably have at least three-year experience in banking or/and microfinance sector.
•    Experience in field research, data collection and analysis as well as presentation.
•    Experience in feasibility on new product opportunities

Main Duties and Responsibilities
•   Assist in setting annual operational plan and implementation for R&D unit
•    Conduct feasibility studies on new product opportunity
•    Conduct regular market survey including customer satisfaction dropout
•    Proposal development (survey proposal, and other relevant proposals…)
•    Oversee the whole processes
•    Conduct monitoring and evaluation on financial services and related projects
•    Conduct competitor and environment analysis by monthly
•    Assist in implementing the social performance management and CSR project
•    Database management
•    Other related duties as assigned

•    Bachelor degree in Marketing, Social Science or equivalent
•    Preferably have one-year experience in banking or/and MFI sector
•    Experience in field research, data collection and analysis report writing
•    High proficiency in researching methodology & procedure

•    Good computer literacy (Ms Offices, SPSS, Stata or other analysis applications
•    Good command in English

CCTV Officer

POSITION: CCTV Officer, 02 Positions (Part-Time)   
REPORT TO: Corporate Security Unit Manager
JOB LOCATION: Head Office

Main Duties and Responsibilities
•    Monitor all actions in CCTV and report or take action immediately.
•    Backup all criminal acts and maintain all storage files for further need.
•    Monitor of CCTV installation and ensure all cameras well records and functioning 24/24.
•    Keep inform to all BMs and Officer In Charge for camera is not functioning.
•    Deter those having criminal intent.
•    Assist in the prevention and detection of crime.
•    Facilitate the identification, apprehension and prosecution of offenders in relation to crime and public order.
•    Monitor and protect PRASAC buildings an assets including movement of vehicles/motors on site.
•    Increase personal safety and reduce the fear of crime.
•    Support the police in a bid to deter and detect crime.
•    Assist in identifying, apprehending and prosecuting offenders.
•    Protect members of the public and private property.
•    Assist in managing the building, its satellite PRASAC properties and its motors and cars parking.



Key Selection Criteria and Qualification
•    Associate Degree in Information Technology or other equivalent   
•    1-year experiences in field of Administration, security equipment management or relevant is a plus.
•    Be able to work for night time shift  
•    Willingness to travel to outside offices and provinces
•    Good computer literacy (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint on Microsoft Office, internet, e-mail,)
•    High personal integrity, morality and prudence.
•    High motivation and ability to perform tasks without supervision.
•    Good interpersonal skill and ability to work in a team spirit.

Internship and Volunteer

PRASAC offers internship and volunteer program to all fresh graduate students who wish to obtain work experience before starting their professional career.

 

a)  Volunteer

Document required

All fresh graduate or year 4 student interested in working with PRASAC can apply for a volunteer position in the Finance Department, Human Resource Department, Operation Department and Administration Department. Required document includes:

-    CV must include education and training details, language proficiency.

-    Cover letter must state the purpose of volunteer and department applied for. In addition, it must explain why they applied for that position at PRASAC and further comments to support their application.

-    Copies of diplomas, degrees and/or other certificates;

 

b) Internship

Document required

All students in their last academic year for Bachelor and Master degrees who wish to write a thesis about PRASAC must send the following document to PRASAC Head Office.
